🇩🇪 Bitte verwende das Format TT.MM.JJJJ bei der Eingabe deines Geburtstages.

🇬🇧 Please use the format DD.MM.YYYY when entering your date of birth.

Offene Zahlungen / Outstanding payments:

🇩🇪 Wenn du deinen Semesterbeitrag verspätet gezahlt hast oder noch offene Beträge hast, erhältst du dein Ticket erst, wenn der Status in der Studierendenverwaltung auf „bezahlt“ steht.

🇬🇧 If you have paid your semester fee late or still have outstanding payments, you will not receive your ticket until your payment status is marked as „paid“ in the student administration system.

My ticket has an incorrect or incomplete name!

If your ticket shows an incorrect or incomplete name, please contact Department 3. Since your data is processed through Hochschule Hannover and not managed by AStA, these details are also used for the tickets:

Costs & Payment

Does the Deutschlandsemesterticket cost anything?

It is included in the semester fee

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is already included in the regular semester fee. You do not need to pay any additional amount.

Availability & Usage

Can I use my student ID to travel by train?

No

Your student ID is not sufficient as a travel authorization. To use public transportation, you must retrieve the QR code of your Deutschlandsemesterticket from this website and present it along with an official photo ID.

What is the Deutschlandsemesterticket and how does it work?

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is a nationwide valid semester ticket that allows you to use public transportation across Germany. It is provided entirely in digital form and can be accessed via a website. Once activated, you can use the ticket as a QR code.

How long is the Deutschlandsemesterticket valid?

The ticket is always valid until the next semester and is extended with the next semester fee payment.

How is the Deutschlandsemesterticket provided?

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is completely digital and can be accessed via this website You can save the ticket as a QR code and add it to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It is not printed on the student ID and is also not available in the DB app.

Important Notes

Do I need to carry an official photo ID?

Yes

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is only valid in combination with a valid official photo ID, such as a national ID card, passport, or driver’s license. Your student ID does not count as an official photo ID. Please remember to always carry an official ID with you when using the ticket.

What should I do if I don’t have a smartphone?

f you do not have a mobile device, please contact us via email at semesterticket@asta-hsh.de with the subject "no mobile device", so we can assist you further.
